SEASONED BEEF TENDERLOIN ROAST (SEASONED FILET ROAST) - 24 HOUR NOTICE REQUIRED The tenderloin is the most tender piece of meat available. It is the primo of meat cuts and it never disappoints. But a filet roast needs to be PREPARED, ie. impeccably cleaned to remove all "silver," (the membrane naturally found on meat). Those purchased in supermarkets and wholesale clubs are NOT cleaned and prepared for you! This is the difference between a "store" item and a "butcher-shop bought" item. That's why a 24-hour notice is preferred. However, we'll prepare it for you at the store if you're willing to wait a bit. Our beef tenderloin roasts are PREPARED and made oven ready for YOU. Whole filets are typically ordered by the size of your party, allowing approximately 1/2 pound per person, uncooked. Most are ordered "seasoned" with our in-house seasoning blend, topped with bacon and have a thin underlying of suet to provide moisture. However, plain or any version thereof, is available as well.
